A bear and their little cub play in the forest, as the parent bear tells the little bear how much they love and cherish their little baby. They go swimming, and they discover a bee's nest. They play games, and hug, and watch the moon at the end of the day.

The cuteness!!! I'm dying. This book is so sweet!! The text almost made me cry, it was so sweet and loving.

The soft illustrations are absolutely beautiful. The colors are attractive and calming, and I love the delicate art style. Each woodland scene has little details in the background that make this book really special.

The sliders are so clever and cool! Even as an adult, I enjoyed sliding the things back and forth to reveal more of the picture, or to make the little bear bounce up and down. And there are two lift-the-flaps, one of which makes the parent bear's arm wrap around baby bear for a hug. Aw, so adorable!

I can't even stand how much I love this book! It gives me warm fuzzy feelings in my heart!
