I wasn’t sure about Megan to start with but she grew on me. She’s very human which makes a change from a lot of the super cops out there. She struggles with panic attacks after her years undercover and is trying to get to grips with being back as a detective. Her team are super supportive and her family are adorable.

I did find the flow a bit disjointed and the ending was wrapped up super quick. However, the two cases were both intriguing. A lot of the characters weren’t particularly likeable which added to the suspicion, although I did guess who it was. There were still a few surprises though. I’d definitely be interested to read more in this series
