I think I may have been a victim of too much hype. Two books were raved about over and over again last year--Code Name Verity and this. You all know how much I loved Verity, so I was expecting to be blown away by this one. And I just wasn't. Yes, it is disturbing. In some ways, it makes me very happy to be single. But it wasn't worth the almost six month wait on the library waiting list.
