I enjoyed this, tempted to give it ★★★★ but I think it fell just shy of that. I could have used less timeskips and more insight into how her mind and plans worked. The side characters were interesting but could have also been given more spotlight and be less one dimensional. Am hoping there is a continuation, but if it just stays as a standalone that's fine too. I've read that others have thought it ended suddenly but it worked for me, the implication that things were just getting started.
edit: 14/FEB/22, bumping this down to a 2.75 (from my original 3.75) after stewing with it for a while. I still enjoyed it and would rec it to people that like superhero books, but I feel like a lot of the characters and even especially the main character were underwritten.
