I’ve loved watching Kaye’s poetry on Youtube so I picked up his book and finally got around to reading it. I saw some of my favorites in there and really enjoyed the poems in the middle section. There are lots of poems about his family. His poems don’t pack a punch so much as they’re a slow burn if that makes sense? Definitely not a bad thing, the emotion just kind of sneaks up on you. I definitely recommend picking this up!!
