Murder in the Family by Cara Hunter
3.0

I really enjoyed the format of the book. It reminded me a bit of the ‘choose your own ending’ books. I haven’t read anything written like this in forever so that part was a lot of fun and made it quick to read.

The story however wasn’t too original and the ending was at best a summation of circumstantial evidence against perpetrator. However, this was meant to be a documentary and not a coverage of court proceedings so maybe that’s fine.

It has all the usual tropes of a who-dunnit thriller. It’s a good palette cleanser and a fun read.

I look forward to reading more books from this author.
