Damn this book had potential, mostly in the relationships between the characters (mostly Myron and Bea), but unfortunately they were underdeveloped and most of the characters fell flat. Scenes and dialogue often felt forced. Honestly what brings this book down to a two for me is the character of Gorgia. She adds nothing to the story and is just sexualized and acts as an object for the main character to obsess over. (As if the case with any woman who aren’t his sister or a mom) If I didn’t know this book was written by a woman I’d assume it was written by a man.
