Jesus, just like the show, this book is a masterpiece. I feel like I learned a lot of interesting things about detective work and about crime, some of which I really didn't WANT to know, but now at least I can say I DO know. You could read the snarky, sarcastic nature of Shawn through his words and I laughed through most of the book, especially at the nicknames section.

Whether you like the show or not, this is worth reading through! 

I feel like I can walk into the police station and start working as a private detective, that's how much confidence this book gave me - which is saying something because I have 0 confidence to start with. I don't remember when I started this book, but I can't believe it took me so long to finish it. Honestly, I probably got distracted by video games and anime. I actually forgot I had this book until I stumbled across it here on GR. So glad I did because I'm happy that I finished it! If you haven't seen the show, go watch it! You won't regret it, or regret reading this masterpiece.
