Portrait of a Scotsman by Evie Dunmore
4.25
adventurous funny lighthearted mysterious medium-paced

Hattie is probably my favorite lady of this series. She SPEAKS her mind and it's often wise and funny and everything that always to her character.

Lucian is such a great Scotsman. He has the attitude. He's a shrewd business man who made his money coming from nothing but doesn't hold the power that comes with money.

They are forced to marry and Hattie's plan for her future husband go out the window as she feels Lucian is not anything like she imagined.

I loved that they traveled to Scotland and what Hattie sets in motion to help a coal mine working town is amazing. They also get to know each other very well in and out of the bedroom 🔥
