Wolverine: Old Man Logan Vol. 10: End of the World
by Ed Brisson
Ah, a much better Logan tale than the last.
This is the final volume in the long running old man logan series. Of course we have "Death of Old Man Logan" Which I'm hoping is good. This is close to a ending as we'll get for the series though, but does it hold up? Let's find out.
Logan goes on a mission with his old friends from Canada. He has to handle a tentical looking monster because...well why not! Next up after is him facing off one last time against the hulk from his timeline. The big bastard has taking a town over and Logan plans on finishing this once and for all. However, with his weaken state, he might have some trouble with that.
Good: The art is pretty solid as always. I really liked the fights, especially with the hulk. Brutal is for sure here. I also thought Logan saying goodbye to his old pals while also doing what he does best, saving those who needs it, is the way Logan has always been. The pacing is a bit rushed but it actually helps this from ever being boring.
Bad: Hulk villain doesn't seem very scary here. Also, the monster they fight before hand is kind of silly. I also think it feels rushed a bit, not getting the full emotion of a dying Logan.
Overall, a solid ending. Not remarkable or anything but like most of Brisson run on Old Man Logan it stayed pretty entertaining throughout. A 3 out of 5.
