The Night She Disappeared
by Lisa Jewell
Solid middle of the road read for me. I have DNFd some of Jewell's work, but also blazed through some in one fell swoop because I couldn't stop reading. The Night She Disappeared didn't go to either extreme for me. It was interesting and engaging enough that I wanted to keep reading, but I didn't really get "hooked" until further into the book. One thing that I have previously found offputting about Jewell's work is the endless time/perspective hopping. This one is no exception, BUT it is done well enough that it was easy to follow along and figure out who and when we were at any given time. Solid 3-stars!
