Mini Audiobook Review: I feel bad rating this book a 3 but I feel like it did not translate as well as I thought it would to audio - I even was warned by the author!!! 

I got the chance to meet Rupert Holmes (SUCH A DELIGHT) in April and told him I was excited to pair my audiobook with the book. And he kind of alluded that it may not be the best to just do the audio.  I thought I would have a chance to do both at the same time but just timing wise I stuck with just the audio. It started off great. I could follow the story but then somewhere in the middle - I was lost. And then there was a moment in the the last 25% where I was understanding and then suddenly its over and I have no clue what happened? 

I do want to come back to this and read it correctly because I feel like I would like this book a lot but just right now I just mentally could not follow. So for right now I am giving this a 3 but perhaps when I do a re-read of this, I will change the rating. 

If anything read other reviews if you are thinking of reading this as they might paint a better picture for you of what you are about to go into.  The rating is no indication of the author's writing or the narratration. 

PS - This cover is one of the MOST GORGEOUS COVERS of 2023!
