I'm really glad there will be a spin off for the guards of Clan Ross because towards the end of Clan Ross of Hebrides I really liked Erik and Torac. I love the switch from the laird's family to the guards. I really liked Erik and Esme but the conflict between the two did feel a bit repetitive. But I'm going to read the next book as soon as it comes out for sure. Content warning for sexual assault.
