This is the fifth and final book in the Cherry Creek Harbor series and Mabel was so worth the wait! The meet cute here is adorable, Mabel is my sweet and awkward soul sister and Joe is a Lupo so enough said. Haha but no really if you’ve read the authors other series you’ll appreciate the crossover and you’ll realize there is something special about the Lupo men. Everything about this one felt genuine and heartfelt, from the way these two took things slowly after she gets pregnant to the fumbling but well meaning way Joe handled so many situations with Mabel, I was impressed by the authenticity here. This one also made me giddy, such a warm hug of a book with the cutest interactions plus an extra side of spice. Family is so important to both Mabel and Joe and they each have some of the best family members so seeing these clans come together was so sweet and special. I’m super sad to say goodbye to this series but what an absolutely perfect send off
