So I've tried to read this twice before and it just didn't click for me. Looks like third times the charm because I am obsessed. The plot was intriguing, with the Welsh mythology,  the Southern setting, and almost (but not quite) dark academia vibes but I really stayed for the characters, who are such a wholesome bunch of misfits and I can see why they are wildly adored.
