Darren Shan is going home--and his world is going to hell. Things are coming together and getting very dramatic. This penultimate book and it's all getting very exciting. I liked how prophecy and fate begin to play a major role in this story. It's interesting to see how prophecies of the future affect what the characters do in the present. Finally, all of the threads from the previous books are tying up rather nicely.
