Nova, Volume 6: Homecoming
by David Baldeón, Gerry Duggan
Sadly this was a very uneven volume. This wraps up the first major run of Nova I read, and it was fun, but slowly got worse as it went on.
So Nova finally reunites with his father, but it feels rushed and not really well paced. This trip to find his father should have been atleast 8 to 10 issues. We need to feel he tried, not just two issues and boom, hey pops! Oh yeah let's bring you home. Yay, happy family.
I just felt the least amount of emotion in this volume. I liked it wrapped up but not in a very satisfying way. So for now, I'm going to give it a 2/5 and really hope the new writer helps give much needed life to a series that started off great and went to meh.
