3.5 This book, more than anything, is about the corruption of power. It's not driven by its world or by its characters, but the message behind it. In this book, animals at a farm revolt and take it over after their owner forgets to feed them. All goes smoothly and everyone is treated fairly until the pigs begin to see the advantages of having more than others. They get away with it because most of the animals are unintelligent or not educated and they cannot tell when they are worse off than when they were with the farmer. This book reminds us that as long as someone has power over us, no matter what they say, we are not truly equal.
