I don't think I've ever read a Peter Pan retelling before, and honestly, I didn't realize this was one until I was already underway. But... I think I need more Peter Pan in my life.

I really liked this standalone from C.R. Jane and Mila Young. They've taken the Pan story and added wolves and vampires and all sorts of paranormal creatures. And a motorcycle club... this is part of a shared world, in which all of the books are various MC's with various paranormal species, but each can be read as a complete standalone.

I both appreciate and dislike that this was a standalone. Things wrapped up nicely and it didn't feel too rushed, although I would definitely read more about Darkland and its residents. The relationship is a RH, but a bit of a slow burn to get there. And the spice was spread enough throughout the story that I didn't feel like it was completely overtaking the plot, but at the same time I never got the "where's the spice?" either.
