It was good but it didn’t provide me with anything I didn’t already know. But I also think that Maté must apply a more humanistic approach to his work bc even though he recognizes social pressures and biases as a main influence on trauma, he doesn’t fully convey how big it truly is.
Also, let’s please help this man better understand accountability and that harm still happens *even if* people don’t mean for it to or ultimately don’t want it to. He’s on a very thin line of holding abusers accountable and I feel like a majority of that comes from his admitted faults in his parenting/relationship
