Everyday Utopia

Based on the title and the tagline I thought this would be more philosophical discussion, instead it was more feminist manifesto. I quite liked that angle once I got used to it but I was taken aback. I did enjoy how clearly feminist the book is. I am curious to read her other work now.
I was surprised by how many of the chapters revolves around children and raising them. As a person with no children and no foreseeable plans to have any, I wish there hadn’t been so many chapters dedicated to this. I still learned things and found it interesting, but it was an unexpected focus of the book.
Overall I enjoy this and it was a lot of food for thought.
