Better than the first Maisie Dobbs book. I'm really getting to like Maisie and all her supporting characters. This was a better mystery than the first book, too, although the solution required specific knowledge of World War I Britain that I did not have. I learned something, thought! Looking forward to book three, especially the budding relationship between Maisie and Dr. Dene, or is it Maisie and Detective Inspector Stratton? The mystery continues...
