It is Taryn's 18th birthday, so what does she get? Someone is trying to kill her, someone is trying to save her.

Turns out she is "charmed" and it has been prophesised that she is the one to save the world.

With the help of Guardians and a half man-half angel she is taken from the only world she has known to a world about to go to war.

I found this a little slow to get into, but after the first few chapters I really got into it, and really enjoyed it, and read it in a couple of days.

A little bit different to what I have read in the past, but would read more of Lindy Zart's work.
