Firefly Lane
by Kristin Hannah
Kristin Hannah is one author who develops these complex stories in each of her books and paint such a vivid picture that leaves me so captivated and heartbroken at the same time! I literally am in awe of her writing style once again!
Firefly Lane is a story of the power of friendship between two very different women who have very different personalities and life goals. But together formed a lifetime bond between them. It follows Tully and Kate over 30 years with their ups and downs not only in their friendship but in their individual lives as well.
I absolutely loved the pacing of this one. Even though at times, I got so annoyed with both of the characters and the choices they made. It was well worth it. From beginning to end, I was so immersed into the story and the ending is just heartbreaking.
This book is more about cherishing those moments you have with your loved ones and not letting the petty minor things get in the way of appreciating every little moment you have with them!
