Are you a fan of spooky reads or more spooky adjacent books? I don't mind scary books but prefer more friendly ghosts and less scary.
Delphie dies unexpectedly and during her acceptance to her after life, she meets the man of her dreams who is sent back to earth. She negotiates with her admission counselor and is sent back to earth to find him in 10 days.
The story is about Delphie's quest to find this mysterious man. There's a lot of funny, disastrous moments and she meets friends along the way. She has lived a very sheltered and lonely life and this short time on earth made her more open to experiences.
I found the story funny and so different. This is part love story, part about living and well dying. Sofia Oxenham did a great job portraying Delphie and other characters.
