Such a fun horror. Felt like an ode to old school horror movies from a Black girl’s pov. Loved the twists and turns. Loved the nod to Black horror writers books and film. Loved the nostalgic representation of old school horror movies. I yelled at this book just like I yell at the screen in the movie theater. It was even more fun as a buddy read, the comments kept me cackling.
