YuYu Hakusho, Volume 11: Eat or Be Eaten!!
by Yoshihiro Togashi
This was a solid follow-up volume. We get to see Kurama and Hiei in action at full strength.
After both are able to unleash their new abilities we see how ruthless these guys are. It's nice to see them on Yusuke's team because goddamn do they do work. Hiei has an especially "Fuck you" moment that is quite EXPLOSIVE. Then we get Kawabara's dumbass trying his new move and failing in such a wonderful way. But at the end, he says NO MORE, and he gets his groove on.
This isn't as good as the last volume or the next (Seen the anime) BUT it is still a damn fine time. It's amazing how quick these matches are compared to the anime. I believe still entertaining but the matches in the anime felt a lot more "Epic" in a sense of build-up. So little let down there.
Overall though still a lot of fun. A 3 out of 5.
