3.5 stars rounded up. Richard Chizmar sure knows how to write slice-of-life, small town intrigue. I'd put this book firmly in the thriller category, rather than horror. It's a quick read, well-paced, and I truly did not see the "who dunit" coming. I always enjoy Chizmar's books, and The Girl On the Porch is no exception.
