The Guest List is about the sumptuous wedding of Jules, a highly successful editor of an online magazine and Will, the charismatic handsome star of a survival TV show. The setting is a remote island haunted by ghosts and the characters all have deep secrets that are slowly revealed as the story unfolds. We know from the beginning that a body is found on the night of the wedding. But it could be the result of an accident, suicide or murder – all are a possibility as we learn more about the wedding party themselves and members of the guest list. The writing is brilliant and as bits and pieces are revealed about a character you are sure you know who is dead and why until more bits and pieces are revealed about another character. You soon realize that you will not know the truth about anything or anyone until the last page of this fabulous Agatha Christie like mystery.
