Deadpool (1997-2002) #64
by Georges Jeanty, Frank Tieri
In this issue, we pick right up where we left off- Deadpool and T-Ray are about to face off. T-Ray tells Deadpool that he was the one that brought Deadpool back to life. One of the Deadpool's kills off the other three and then shoots Deadpool through the middle which takes out a chunk large enough to make him collapse. T-Ray and the last imposter Deadpool grab the dead team and head out of the city. In the graveyard where Deadpool was buried, T-Ray tells him that all those other Deadpools were different personalities that Deadpool had. By taking them out one by one, the leaders of Project X were extinguishing him. When T-Ray gives him something called a "gemini star" Deadpool can summon any other personality- like an inner child, or a woman. Then Weasel and the three homeless people show up with an angry mob of armed 7th graders. T-Ray takes the gemini star back and realizes that Deadpool broke it... this causes T-Ray to absorb different Deadpool personalities. Which means, that Deadpool really IS Wade Wilson. T-Ray never really was after all!
