Caller of Crows
by Silvana Falcon
I went into this one kind of blind and was hoping for something different than what I was reading..it definitely delivered.
Altair & Sven..
These two are what complete opposites define. The relationship between them is one that is not hard to understand. Sven wants something that can only come from Altair and Altair wants to keep Sven without giving him what he wants. It's a rocky road for them but in the end it works out and in the best way for both of them.
The "you're mine" vibes we get from Altair are what got me every time. Then you add in Sven's responses back and...yeah. Both having gone through different heart aches to get to where they are is what makes this book as good as it is. They both evolve throughout and what they become by the end is something you hope will happen.
There was a point in the book that I had my doubts to finish but kept pushing through and I am glad that I did. This one is also kind of sort of third POV which throws me for a loop in any book but this one seemed to need the outside view in.
Altair & Svens story has a little of everything...
Tension
Possessiveness
Spice
Smidgen of cuteness
Emotions
Sprinkles of humor
But overall the sense of longing from both of them.
There are some things that could be triggers so be cautious while reading.
Vampires are making their way onto my reading radar and I am not mad about it.
