I absolutely loved this book, even though it's not better than The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, I found the family dynamics in this story extremely appealing and nostalgic to a sense, which I adore. I think the book could have benefited from a faster development in certain parts, and though the ending isn't so surprising, it's a heartwarming closure.
