If I remember correctly, I got this as a free book from a 'stuff your kindle day' or signing up for a newsletter or something, so I'm happy that I didn't pay for this book.
It wasn't bad, just not good. And to be absolutely frank, I kinda skipped through the middle a bit. I just didn't love the fact stating instead of world building, the conversations instead of inner monologue. Many sayings were reused often and I just felt like the book was much longer than it needed to be.

I think I'll try a different book of Ivy's.
