Let a bitch get chug a pint of water real quick, because I am parched from the heat in these pages. This book was freaking fire!! Nichole Rose understood the muther fking assignment when she wrote this one.

This is the 6th and final book in the Galentine's Getaway series. Each book features one of 6 authors who are attending a writer's retreat and experience instalove and get an HEA. I will admit that I have been critical with some of the other books. I feel like as a whole this series started off strong, then kind of went down a generic path, which was a bit disappointing, then BAM ended with a volcanic eruption!!!!!

We are talking kinks bitches!!! This dirty talking dom, is good with his hands and when he choked our girl I gushed!! His breeding kink OMFG that was ... YES. I was not prepared for that. And even though she never called him daddy, I sooo got a daddy vibe from him. Last, I never thought I would like the freaking pet name Pretty Baby but yeah, it grew on me. I want to be Cord's pretty baby!! Lastly there is an age gap but it's not a main focus. Simply mentioned, no real hang ups and I appreciated that as we already dealt with a Silver Fox (Atlas) in this series.

So, not only was this the longest book in the entire series, but the author did not regurgitate scenes like the others nor did the epilogue go down the path of telling other 5 ladies HEA. She focused on our main characters, and it was magic.

The timeline for Cord and Cassia is longer than the rest of the girls since they met 6 weeks prior to the retreat when Cord emailed Cassia to complain about her writing. He antagonized, flirted, and tempted her. Their connection on both an emotional and physical level was a wild ride.

I can say this was the BEST book in the series. Highly recommend.
