Chrissy, Chase, Emma, and Kiki make up the Ghost Gang, filming their encounters the with other side for a YouTube channel. Closing in on 1 million subscribers, Chase books them a room at the most haunted hotel around. A skid row hotel, known as the Horror Hotel, has seen its fair share of deaths and disappearances over the years… and the Ghost Gang is about to get caught up in it all.

I was hoping it would be a quick creepy read and it was at times but it was also a bit disappointing. I wanted it to focus more on the ghost stories and trying to solve the mystery but half the book was about falling for attractive guys and unrequited feelings and I’m so sick of authors thinking these things are necessary to make a book good. They make the book worse, when will they realize that?! You’re writing a horror book, make it scary! I think 3 stars was pretty generous on my part seeing as they didn’t solve the mystery they went there for and barely talked about it at all for most of the book … like why even bring it up at the start then?
