Second time reading this book and the reread value is 10/10 Maggie writes such beautiful adventure stories. i love the way she portrays friendships and relationships and the expansion of this world is so exciting and intriguing

i listened to the audiobook this time around and the voice actor was great. he has a gravelly tough guy voice which i’ve never listened to an audiobook with a voice like that but it’s very fitting for Ronan. however his british accent for Hennessy and the girls was rough.

the plot follows ronan and his brothers (from the raven boys series) as he manages his life after high school and struggles with new dreamers problems. There’s new bad people, expansions on the dreaming mechanics, and new characters and new ~superpowers ~.
