I absolutely adored This Posion Heart and thought it was amazing how the authored reimagined the Greek mythology for it. 

However for This Poison Heart even though I enjoyed it, I still felt like something was missing from it. It was very predictable in a sense and read a lot more middle grade in my opinion. Also Brises did not give me a main character vibe as a lot of things were happening around her and she was kept in the dark for majority of the book with others making the decisions.

One thing though I absolutely adored was the banter between the characters! The comedic and sarcastic banter was everything in this one! Also the family dynamics of love and sacrifice just shined throughout the whole book!

Overall, even though I felt this one wasn't as good as the first book it was still a solid YA fantasy with a neat wrapped in a bow ending.
