So I’ve probably mentioned a time or two about how big a fan of the Outlander tv series I am. You might also have seen a mention here or there about my sister who moved to Scotland in the fall of 2019, which was right before the lovely pandemic hit. My family had planned to go stay with her for a week at Thanksgiving in 2020, but of course that didn’t happen. We may or may not do it this year. But getting to listen to this audiobook was so much fun! Actually, almost more fun than the tv series ended up being. After listening to the book, when the tv series came on, I expected so much more than we actually got on the show. So I’m glad there was this book to fill in the extras. The chemistry between Sam and Graham was so hilarious, a perfect bromance all the way! I laughed so much while listening to the two of them bickering and being sarcastic with each other. But I also learned a lot about Scotland, and of course have an even longer list of places I want to visit when/if I do ever get to visit my sister there. Now I had to buy the physical copy of the book as well. Even though I haven’t had a chance yet to actually look through the pictures in it, I knew that I would want to.
