Maybe we can be done with this dumpster-fire of a series now. I read all of it. I read it partly because my students were so absolutely interested in it and partly because I couldn't quite believe how a story that made no sense at all could be so popular. The first third of the first book had such promise too...

But anyway, here we are, in what amounts to an epilogue. The cover gives it away that it's sweeter than the icing on a wedding cake. The story again doesn't make much sense, but to be fair, it doesn't have to. The purpose of this is twofold; one to present Warner as a very sympathetic character and to have a couple of rousing smut scenes to wrap up the series and prove how absolutely compatible our two main characters are. They can't keep their hands off each other, so they are obviously IN LOVE and ready for marriage.

But, I guess the surprise at the end was kind of cute.

And there's a dog.

A novella can't fix the gaping plot issues in this series, so don't expect it to. It is a nice, fluffy scene, so let it be what it is. Don't expect too much and it won't be disappointing.
