I really enjoyed reading these poems. I liked the alliteration throughout the poems and I really enjoyed the erasure poems from the old documents. I loved how accessible the poems were and the references explained in the back of the book. Some of the poems I didn't really vibe with but it was really enjoyable for the most part. I really liked the poems on the darker pages. It was like a kick to the gut and made me a little uncomfortable, but I think that's what good poetry should do.
