A girl enters the Immortal Trials to try and win a pill that would save her sick mother’s life. The trial means sure death but someone helps her along the way.
This is based on Asian mythology and is the first in a duology.
It kind of had the same vibe as Song of Silver, Flame like Night but I liked it a little better.
Things to expect: found family, fast paced adventure, YA romance, quest, deadly trials, magic
