capssuds 's review for:
Thief of Shadows
by Elizabeth Hoyt
I just finished my masters capstone and honestly wanted to turn my brain off and read a good historical romance. This one fit the bill!
The romance was a good buildup (started in the previous book, so you may miss it if you didn't read that) and it built up from there. I love the whole "masked lover that the other character doesn't know and there is a lot of pining" trope so this really hit the spot! Again since it's romance, there isn't substance, it's all fluff- but there is a good bit of intrigue!
