What happens when you mix a cowboy and convicted felon? You get one fantastic story! The moment I started reading this I was completely hooked.

Brandon runs a program at his ranch for felons and Louisiana is the newest participant. From the moment the two of them see each other, there is something between them. Yet, Louisiana is focused on just completely the program and getting her freedom back and doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that. However, she can’t deny the charms of Brandon. He is caring, protective and believes everyone should get a second chance.

I felt for Lou. The more her story and her past are revealed the more I felt for her. You can’t help but root for her to have a second chance at life and to have her freedom back. Brandon is just easy to fall for. He is swoony, caring, protective and who doesn’t love a cowboy?

The secondary characters in this story were also fantastic. I loved Rory and I seriously can’t wait for more of her. Jake is amazing and I really want more of his story. Plus, Wyatt! I feel like each of them has so much more to tell, but I loved the bits and pieces that were provided in this story.
