Laney is fresh off a break up and needed a break from the city life. When she see’s a man across the bar she decides to take a chance, however, this man is closed off and pretty much brushes her aside. That is until the mystery man gives her a ride. Anders isn’t one for social interaction, he keeps to himself at his cabin in the mountains, his heart broken years ago by a girl.

I loved the instant chemistry between Laney and Anders. There is a level of attraction. They are both broken, but their attraction for one another. They didn’t know they both needed each other to heal until they met. I loved everything about their story and the growth of these two characters was fantastic.
