To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
3.5/5 stars.
I was never required to read this book when I was in middle or high school so I thought that I would see what everyone was talking about. I read the first half in physical form, then put it down when school started up again. Then, I picked it up as an audio book and that's how I ended up finishing the book. There is a recurring theme that happens for me when I read books that one usually reads while in school. That is: I really wish that I could have read it with a class so than I could analyze it. I love reading books in a class setting because I believe I understand a lot more from certain books that way. I enjoyed this story. However, I think I would have enjoyed it more in class setting.
