A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair
5.0

Persephone is a Goddess who disguises herself as a mortal and lives in the mortal world. She is attending college and only has a few months left before she graduates. She gets a journalism internship and is excited for it. She goes to a club to celebrate her internship with her best friend who is her roommate. Persephone invites a man to her table to teach her cards and she ends up finding out it is Hades and the next day she finds out she is in a contract with him. She has six months to give life to something in the Underworld or she will be living with him. On top of that she decides to write an article about Hades to expose him at how awful of a god he is. Will she undercover the true Hades? Will she fall for him?
I have been wanting to read this series for ever, but kept putting it off. It sat on my Kindle Unlimited forever and then they took it off, so I had to buy this book. I’m glad I had to buy it because it was excellent. I love the growth of both Hades and Persephone and how they complement one another and make each other better. The romance was HOT. I can’t find anything wrong with this story and I loved seeing the gods clubs and the Underworld. I can’t wait to explore more of these characters and the world they live in. Highly recommend if you want a romance or a Greek mythology book.
