As much as I enjoyed this book, I'm really glad that I read the prequel short stories first because, having done that, I knew her skills were real. If I had read this first, I would have felt there was a lot of exaggeration because she isn't really shown to be skillful in this book. There are mentions of her skills and some demonstrations, but not like in the prequels.

That being said, I still would have very much enjoyed the book and I certainly am glad that I finally got around to reading it!!
