This was really pretty good up until the ending, which ruined the entire book for me when the Bad Guy stands up at the end, announces that he’s been the one killing people and tells everyone why. Not only is it true cliche cheesy bad guy style, it’s also one of my pet peeves about mysteries where someone else explains what’s going on to the main characters. If I’m going to spend so long cheering for people to solve a mystery, could you give me just the satisfaction of seeing it happen, please?

The “boss fight” (you know what I mean - I don’t have any other way to say it) was ok and somewhat interesting but not enough to make up for everything else.
