I loved the premise of this book! A historical YA MM book? Love!
But the story fell short for me and halfway through I wanted to DNF. But I persevered. Mostly because I was closer to the end than finish.
I loved the locations in this book, and I loved the privateers, but Monty was pretty unlikable, and so was felicity for that matter.
I won’t be continuing with this series, but it will be right for others!
