Cluck Buddies by Theresa Leigh is everything I hoped it would be and more. The humor was on point. I loved Wesley’s puns! I really enjoyed how both Wesley and Jane’s flaws were so realistic and played into their conflicts during the story. Wesley has Dyslexia and Jane is an auditory learner (so she records things to remember them). I found it amazing that Wesley’s job was an elevator mechanic, because it just not a job that it talked about often. I loved Jane’s book club and how they all look out for each other. The intimate scenes between Jane and Wesley were fantastically steamy! Overall, this story had the humor, characters, intimacy, and romance that I find irresistible.
